Around 1.8 billion people across the world do not have an access to safe drinking water and every year almost 800,000 people die from water-borne diseases. A number of community service organizations drinking water centers wherever possible. And no wonder, these organizations need capital investments from communities and corporate externally.
We at MRC, provide funds to these organizations to run their campaigns, set up water centers and distribute refining machines. We try to provide funds to cover up some of the operational costs for materializing the objectives of this campaign at the mass level.
This worldwide lack of access to safe drinking water has prompted the corporate sector to contribute back to the society by supporting these organizations in whichever way possible.
Providing access to safe sanitation facilities in rural households, installing water purifying units across the village and district and doorstep delivery of water is the major concern of MRC’s safe drinking CSR initiative.
